Bookings
Can I book a minibus via the app or web?
Yes — but due to limited availability, we recommend booking at least 1–2 hours in advance. For urgent bookings, please call us on 0151 459 0188.
Can I book my journey via email?
Yes — email [email protected] with full journey details, or use our app, website or phone lines.
Do you cover long distance journeys?
Yes — we cover all of the UK mainland. Please include postcodes, dates, times, passenger numbers and luggage info for a quote.
Do you offer wedding guest transport?
Yes — our minibuses are ideal for weddings and group shuttles. Please provide full details when requesting a quote.
Do you offer group transport?
Yes — our 7 & 8 seater minibuses are perfect for groups, events, football matches and concerts.
Do your taxi fares increase after 11pm and bank holidays?
No — we do not raise fares at night or on bank holidays. The only exceptions are Christmas and New Year periods when fares are higher.
How can I book a taxi for more than 4 people?
Book via the app, web, or by calling. For instant availability checks, please call us directly.
What are your opening times?
We operate 24/7, 365 days a year.
How much notice do you need for an airport pickup?
We recommend at least 12 hours notice. For last-minute bookings, WhatsApp us on +44 151 459 0188.
How will we know our driver at the airport?
Your driver will meet you inside arrivals with a name board, and will contact you by phone or WhatsApp when landed.
Customers
Can I open a Corporate Account with Picks Travel?
Yes — we offer corporate accounts with monthly invoicing and priority booking.
Can I open a Personal Account with Picks Travel?
No — we no longer offer personal accounts. Please book via the app or web and pay securely each time.
Do you allow pets in your taxis?
Yes — pets can travel in secure carriers. Assistance dogs are always welcome.
Do you have Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles?
Yes — Hackney WAVs (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles) are available with prior notice, preferably 8 hours.
Do you provide car seats?
No — but customers may bring their own. For airport transfers, we can store the seat and return it on your return trip.
Do you transport children travelling alone?
Yes — minimum recommended age is 10 years old. Must be pre-arranged by a parent or guardian.
I’m moving from student accommodation. Can Picks Travel help?
We transport people, not large removals. Please use a removal company for big moves.
Will you transport bicycles?
Yes — estates and minibuses can carry bikes if advised in advance.
Do you provide receipts?
Yes — drivers can provide receipts. Please note Picks Travel is not VAT registered, so VAT invoices are not available.
Do you cover hospital appointments?
Yes — we regularly take passengers to hospitals and clinics across Merseyside and beyond.
Vehicles & Safety
What vehicles are in your fleet?
Saloons, Estates, MPVs up to 6 seats, 7–8 seater minibuses, and Hackney WAVs. See our fleet page.
What is typical luggage capacity?
Saloon: 2 × 23kg; Estate: 3 × 23kg; MPV: hand luggage/1 case; Minibus: ideal for groups and luggage.
Do vehicles include free extras?
Some vehicles include free bottled water. A table can be provided in minibuses on request.
Do drivers assist with luggage?
Yes — drivers will help load/unload safely where possible.
Are you licensed?
Yes — Picks Travel holds Liverpool Private Hire Operator Licence PHO0101. All drivers are Liverpool-plated and DBS-checked.
Are vehicles insured?
Yes — all vehicles are insured for hire & reward and inspected to Liverpool City Council standards.
Do you operate 24/7?
Yes — around the clock, every day of the year.

Yes — with fixed prices, meet & greet, and account billing.
